BVI SERVICE HUB – TERMS OF USE

Welcome to BVI Service Hub! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our platform, which connects service providers and clients in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). By using our site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.



1. DEFINITIONS

  • “Platform” refers to BVI Service Hub and all related websites, apps, and services.
  • “User” refers to anyone using the platform, including freelancers/service providers and clients/customers.
  • “Service Provider” refers to individuals or businesses offering services through the platform.
  • “Client” refers to individuals or businesses seeking to hire service providers.
  • “Job Listing” refers to project postings by clients seeking freelancers.

2. ELIGIBILITY

  • Users must be at least 18 years old to register and use the platform.
  • All information provided during registration must be accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if false or misleading information is provided.

3. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

For Service Providers

  • You are responsible for delivering high-quality services as agreed with clients.
  • You must comply with all local laws and industry regulations for your services.
  • Pricing, availability, and payment terms must be clearly stated in your service listings.
  • Misrepresentation of skills, services, or qualifications is strictly prohibited.

For Clients

  • Clients must provide clear and detailed project descriptions when posting jobs.
  • Payment terms should be agreed upon in advance with the service provider.
  • Leaving honest and fair reviews is encouraged, but defamatory or misleading feedback is not allowed.

4. PAYMENTS & TRANSACTIONS

  • BVI Service Hub does not process payments between clients and service providers.
  • Clients and service providers must arrange their own payment methods (e.g., bank transfers, PayPal, cash, etc.).
  • We are not responsible for disputes related to payments, refunds, or non-payment.

5. LISTING & JOB POSTING GUIDELINES

  • Service listings must be accurate, professional, and relevant to the platform.
  • Job postings must contain legal, ethical, and clearly defined requirements.
  • Spam, misleading, or fraudulent listings will be removed, and offending accounts may be suspended.

6. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

Users may NOT:
✔ Engage in fraudulent, misleading, or illegal activities.
✔ Post spam, fake reviews, or manipulate ratings.
✔ Use the platform for purposes unrelated to hiring or offering services.
✔ Harass, threaten, or exploit other users.
✔ Collect personal data from other users without consent.

Violating these rules may result in account suspension or permanent ban.


7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All content created by BVI Service Hub, including logos, text, and graphics, remains our intellectual property.
  • Users retain ownership of their own content but grant BVI Service Hub a license to use it for marketing and promotional purposes.
  • Copying, reselling, or distributing platform content without permission is prohibited.

8. DISCLAIMER & LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

  • BVI Service Hub is a marketplace only—we do not guarantee service quality, payments, or user reliability.
  • We are not liable for disputes, damages, or losses resulting from interactions between users.
  • The platform is provided “as is”, without warranties regarding uptime, availability, or performance.

9. TERMINATION & ACCOUNT SUSPENSION

  • Users may deactivate their accounts at any time.
  • BVI Service Hub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Use.
  • If your account is terminated, you may lose access to your profile, reviews, and job history.

10. SUBSCRIPTION & PRICING TERMS

  • Free and paid plans are available for service providers.
  • Paid plans offer additional benefits, such as higher visibility, more job applications, and priority support.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
  • Users may cancel their subscriptions at any time, but the plan remains active until the end of the billing cycle.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS

  • We may update these terms from time to time.
  • Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised terms.
